Hey, I'm Roddy,
I live in a small town close to London and love everything outdoors - hiking, cycling, playing tennis and spending time with my friends & family.
In the last few years I'm lucky enough to have travelled extensively & lived in a small town in Senegal, Prague & Mexico City, where I learnt French & Spanish, and honed my skills of capturing real moments candidly, and subtly.

I captured my first wedding in 2021 and was instantly hooked. Preserving such an emotional, beautiful day by using my skills of documentary photography & filmmaking felt like the perfect match.
My work is defined by an easy-going approach and a commitment to telling your story in a way that is natural, authentic, beautiful.
I believe the most compelling stories are told when the day is allowed to unfold naturally. I offer gentle direction, preferring to work candidly and quietly.
Your enjoyment is the priority.
By stepping back, I can document the authentic atmosphere of the day: the quiet tear during the vows, the roar of laughter during the speeches, and the energy of the dance floor.
Whether shooting digitally or using film, I aim to create a timeless collection that doesn't just look like your wedding day, but feels like it too.

COUPLE'S PORTRAITS
This is often the part of the day couples worry about most, but my approach is designed to be relaxed and enjoyable.
I view our time together as a relaxed opportunity for you to take a breather away from the crowd and enjoy being married.
I’ll provide gentle guidance, but there is no awkward or rigid posing involved. If you can walk, talk, and laugh together, we can capture something beautiful.
I want you to look back at these images in decades to come and see yourselves being present with each other, taking a moment to reflect on the days that are yet to come.
Many couples decide against specific couples photos, or only allow a couple of minutes for them, this is absolutely fine and I can capture beautiful photos in a couple minutes, getting you back to your guests as soon as possible.
Often I will work with others to properly capture your day, multiple photographers/filmmakers can be necessary depending on locations, guest numbers and events. I work with trusted friends who have a similar style and ethos as me.
Having multiple people focused on different mediums/locations allows us to cover every aspect of the wedding day in the detail it deserves.
The shooters I work with have a similar philosophy and shooting style me, they are discreet and blend in, and are all great people!
